At Upper Left Volleyball Club, we believe every young athlete deserves the opportunity to pursue their passion for volleyball, regardless of their family's financial circumstances or the team they represent.
We understand that participating in sports comes with expenses, and sometimes something as simple as purchasing a new pair of volleyball shoes can be a challenge.
That's why we created Sponsor Their Steps, a community-driven initiative connecting young athletes who need a little extra support with generous individuals, families, and businesses who want to make a difference.
Our mission is simple: Help young athletes step onto the court with confidence, knowing their community believes in them.
How Sponsor Their Steps Works
1. Apply for Assistance
Families who need help purchasing volleyball shoes can submit an application for consideration. Athletes from different schools, clubs, and volleyball programs are welcome to apply.
2. Meet Our Athletes
Selected athletes may be featured through approved profiles highlighting their volleyball goals, dreams, and aspirations. Families can choose to keep their athlete's identity private.
3. Sponsor a Pair of Shoes
Community members can choose an athlete to support and make a one-time contribution toward their volleyball shoes.
Sponsors may cover the full cost of a pair of shoes or contribute any amount toward an athlete's shoe fund.
4. Follow Their Journey
Sponsors can receive occasional, family-approved updates throughout the athlete's volleyball season, including achievements, tournament experiences, and special milestones.
No monthly commitments. Just one meaningful gift and a season of encouragement!

All sponsor communications and athlete updates are coordinated by Upper Left Volleyball Club, with parent or guardian permission. Athletes are never required to communicate directly with sponsors.
