UL Youth Club
Opportunity for Every Athlete
Why We’re Expanding Into Youth Club Volleyball
We are launching our Youth Club program because the future of the game begins with early opportunity.

Young athletes deserve access to structured training, positive mentorship, and meaningful competition — without families feeling overwhelmed by excessive costs or travel demands. By building a strong foundation at the youth level, we teach proper fundamentals while developing confidence, leadership skills, teamwork, and true sportsmanship.

This expansion creates a clear, affordable developmental pathway for both girls and boys — one focused on long-term growth, character, accountability, and respect for the game. We want our athletes to learn how to compete with integrity, support their teammates, and lead both on and off the court.

We’re not just forming teams. We’re developing the next generation of athletes and leaders.
Our Core Values
1. Opportunity for All
We believe every athlete deserves the chance to compete and grow. We are committed to expanding access to high-level volleyball for both girls and boys without excessive financial barriers.
2. Player Development
Growth comes first. We focus on skill progression, game IQ, and long-term athletic development to prepare athletes for the next level — on and off the court.
3. Character & Accountability
We teach responsibility, leadership, discipline, and respect. The habits built in the gym carry into school, family, and future success.
4. Team Culture
Volleyball is built on trust and communication. We foster a positive, competitive environment where athletes support one another and compete with integrity.
5. Community
We are more than a club — we are a family. We value connection, mentorship, and giving back to the community that supports us.
How We Keep Costs Affordable
At Upper Left Volleyball Club, we are intentional about keeping club volleyball accessible for families. Here’s how we lower overall costs without lowering standards:

Staying Local

We prioritize local and regional competition whenever possible. There are plenty of strong clubs nearby, allowing our teams to compete at a high level without the added expenses of long-distance travel, flights, and hotel stays.

Smart Scheduling

By selecting tournaments within driving distance, we reduce travel-related costs while still providing meaningful, competitive match play.

Uniform Program

Players will borrow their team jerseys for the season and return them at the end of the year. This eliminates the need for families to purchase expensive new uniform packages each season.

Focused Spending

Our budget prioritizes coaching, gym time, and athlete development — the things that truly impact growth — rather than unnecessary extras.

Our goal is simple: provide volleyball opportunities for girls and boys while keeping the financial commitment reasonable and manageable for families.
