What Does Being on a VLA Team Look Like?

High-Level Competition

Compete against top adult athletes from across the country
Structured tournament season running September–May
Opportunity to play in championship events

Structured Training

Weekly team practices (typically 1–2 per week depending on schedule)
Systems-based training and team development
Film review and competitive scrimmages

Travel & Tournaments

Regional and national tournaments
Team travel for select events

Costs Associated with Being on the Team

Tryouts

$25 per person
This fee covers participation in the VLA tryout event.

Team Membership / Season Fees

Team dues to cover league registration, uniforms, gym rentals, and administrative costs
Varies by team (typically $1200 -$2000+ per season depending on how many practices the team does in a season)

Tournament & Travel Fees

Some events involve tournament entry fees
If the team travels out of town, players may be responsible for:

Uniforms & Gear

Team uniform kit (jersey, shorts, warm-ups) — will be purchased separately by each player
Optional personal gear (kneepads, sleeves, etc.) as desired
